IT’S A FAMILY THING

Sandgate Wreckers was established in the 60's and purchased by the Connolly family, who were looking to expand their business, Connolly Motors, which was established in 1952.

Both businesses are still in the family.

All four of their children have either worked for the family business or still do.

Today, the business is run by their son Darren and his wife Tanya, though Viv still works at the business with their current staff of 16 (not including management).

In 2023, Darren’s son Mitch has joined the team to carry on the great family name.

Quest Business Achievers Awards
